Hello! I am an urban ecologist and a PhD candidate in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University, USA. I am a member of Dr Madhusudan Katti’s Reconciliation Ecology Lab and the Public Science Cluster at the university.

I am passionate about public science communication and share insights from my research through my blog posts and Instagram account. I also strive to create awareness about the significance of urban nature and have been campaigning for the protection and preservation of trees in my hometown of New Delhi, India for the past several years. I engage with communities and municipal authorities with the aim to better the management of urban trees and their associated biodiversity in our rapidly expanding cities.
